Recognising the obstacles preventing us from achieving our goals and aspirations in music, finding the joy in playing, creating and performing, understanding the reasons and our personal needs for making music.

Lefteris Moumtzis invites professional and amateur musicians and creators of all ages and music idioms to a workshop, the main purpose of which is to analyse and “uncover” the reasons that collectively and individually hold us back from materialising our creative desires. As a starting point, we will share our experiences, our concerns and our dreams with the team and we will discover ways both individually and collectively, which will help us “loosen up”, and be more creative, more enthusiastic and open to challenges and influences. The workshop will include listening to the participants’ work, analysing the material used for the promotion of their work, as well as playing and analysing compositions and live performance. Additionally, we will look at ways in which we can release and promote our work in this day and age and how to be creative with all aspects of promotion. The goal is for each participant to leave the workshop more aware and confident of their artistic identity, armed with new and meaningful ideas about what he/she ultimately wants to accomplish.
