Internationally acclaimed New Zealand-Greek Composer John Psathas (www.jpsathas.com)

joins forces with UK pianist Dawn Hardwick (www.dawnhardwick.com)

and Greek percussionist Zoe Argyriou…

…..for an extraordinary and dynamic programme in which they explore some of the most pressing issues confronting our world today.
This unique audio-visual show is presented in three parts.
Relentless (the first ever performance of this piece) features percussionist Zoe Argyriou and text by Eleni Petridi.
Second-Hand Time features pianist Dawn Hardwick and draws from the documentary work of Adam Curtis, and the writings of Henry Giroux, Brad Evans, Svetlana Alexievich, and Noam Chomsky and combines the emotional power and excitement of virtuosic musical performance with a cinematic soundtrack and digital script.
Voices at the End, inspired by the film Planetary, is a provocative and breath-taking wake-up call; a cross-continental cinematic journey that explores our cosmic origins and our future as a species. A full-length synchronised film weaves around the live performance expressing a poetic and humbling reminder that now is the time to shift our perspective.
