“Once there was and there was not…”. All gypsy tales begin with this phrase.

The musical-narrative project “Isine da nasine…” brings gypsy myths to the stage through narration and song, recalling that spontaneous feast that the Roma would set up around a fire, singing and telling legends about spirits, fairies, elements of nature, passionate love, sorrow, pain, injustice, death. Gypsy songs, containing all kinds of exaggeration and excess, want to manifest and let go of every extreme emotion. In any case, both fairy tales and sung stories serve an emotional role.
